Two presentations from last week’s “Social Media and Resilience Workshop” that look at how social media can be used to manage internal risks and respond to external crises.
In my presentation I looked at good and bad examples how social media can be used by staff as well as some basic recommendations on how to write social media staff guidelines. (More on that topic here and here).
Philippe Stoll from the ICRC gave an excellent presentation on how the ICRC has changed their communications approach to make better use of social media and how the organization has used social media to respond to crises.
